The last few months have been rather hectic, says actor Asin as she's been shooting non-stop for her upcoming films. But the actor, who made her debut with actor Aamir Khan's Ghajini, is quite excited about her upcoming film Housefull 2 as it's her first multistarrer. But wasn't it a potential setting for catfights as the film had more than one heroine in it?“No way. In fact, I had such a great time shooting for the film with the girls. Much different than what I had thought things would be. All the girls — Jacqueline (Fernandez), Shazahn (Padamsee) and Zareen (Khan) are extremely sweet and hard working. We all hit it off from day one. In fact, now that the shoot is over, we are still in touch and chat with each other all the time. What also helped was that none of us had any ego hassles and we were all secure with our roles in the film,”says the pretty actor vociferously.
Of late, the actor has also been getting a lot of compliments for her looks and her clothes, something that she wasn't exactly best at. What's the raaz behind the transformation, we tease.“Initially I wouldn't care too much about wearing a particular dress and looking a particular way. Style is very personal and subjective. A lot of it is influenced by your upbringing and culture. But I soon realised that there is a lot of public scrutiny, especially in an industry like ours. So, I have started taking a personal interest in what I wear and the compliments are pouring in,”she smiles.
The actor is also known to be quite a cricket-buff.A die hard fan of the sport, it's not surprising to see her cheering for Team India, when she can make it to the stadium to watch them play.“I recently witnessed an India-Pakistan one day match at Dhaka and that was the first time I saw a match live. To witness India-Pak live is one of the best things for me. Also, I know a lot of them personally so it was great fun,”she says.
Talking cricket brings us to the topic of the ailing cricketer, Yuvraj Singh.“We have been in touch on and off,” says the actor of her bonding with him. “I am glad that he is recovering very well. I wish him all the very best and want him to stay positive. I am sure he will come out stronger and like he says, 'Yuvstrong Livestrong'.”
