For the chirpy actress was the designated on-sets jester, keeping everybody in splits with her comic timing.
“Not many in Bollywood are aware that Asin has a tremendous sense of humour. On-screen, she got an opportunity to demonstrate this with Ready, and with Housefull 2, she can finally afford to let loose,” says a senior crew member. “This was apparent even with her off-screen conduct, where she ensured that the mood was forever lively with a constant stream of jokes and anecdotes.”
And though she was working with people like Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and Riteish Deshmukh, there was no discomfort.
“In fact, Akshay constantly used to pull her leg by saying 'Yeh ladki hamesha hasti rehti hai'. Asin couldn't help it, as she was the same even during the making of more serious affairs like Ghajini and London Dreams. Even Salman had mentioned then that her comic timing and humour was the best among the current crop of actors,” a friend of the actress says.
Fortunately enough for her, after Housefull 2, there is another comedy flick coming her way in Bol Bachchan. Let the laughter continue.
